We love Grandma!!!!
Flowers from Mom's very favorite place - Wilson Farms - to greet her...My mom served her mission in the New England States Mission, lived in Connecticut for 8 years plus, has visited New England countless times, and absolutely loves Boston. She also visited me when I lived in Medford (before I met Brian) and came to my rescue during a tough time. We especially bonded as mother and daughter then, and always love to spend time together.
As you can tell, Conor was "leaping for joy" to be with Grandma with Cowboy Boots!"
She arrived on Saint Patrick's Day. (We have yet to feed her Brian's Boiled Dinner, in true Irish fashion. ) Megan & Conor got a donut at the airport. Here's Megan enjoying hers:
The kids love having Grandma here and want to make sure she'll be here in the morning when they go to bed! We played "Bunny Bowling" for our Family Home Evening activity last night.

Conor announced to his pre-school class today that his Grandma was here for one day from New Jersey. (We're still working on geography with him --- New Jersey, Nevada --- they both start with "N". And she's here for a week, not just one day.) Afterwards we went to Castle Island and enjoyed the brisk air. Mom didn't want her photo taken so this is what we got to prove she was here.....

p.s. Forgot to tell you: My mom served her mission in the New York tri state area ... don't know if that includes Boston, but believe it went north of New York. She remembers it fondly. Wonder if they were "out" at the same time?
Jami - yes those are mom's stylish jeans, but my cool shoes. Megan was mad at her for wearing mommy's shoes! A girl's trip sounds great. How about on the East coast...
