Megan and I read Robert McCloskey's Make Way for Ducklings and she asked me if the story was true. I told her that there really was a statue of the mother duck and her 8 ducklings in Boston. She wanted to know if she had ever been there before. (She has.)

I told Megan that she and I would go on a special outing to the Public Garden to see the Make Way for Ducklings statue while Brian took Conor to a Red Sox game. We had a fun afternoon. It was also our first time on the swan boats!
