Easter turned into a mini Christmas at our house with lovely packages from friends and family! The kids have loved receiving cards and packages this past week. Today on Easter Sunday we spent time discussing why we celebrate Easter. Inside these white linen napkins were small treasures that symbolized parts of the Easter story and represented the Resurrection. We feel blessed to know that Jesus is our Savior. We believe that because Christ overcame death we will also be resurrected.
Egg! Megan is getting really good at finding eggs. The Easter Bunny left a note explaining that he had so many eggs to deliver that he couldn't do a treasure hunt with clues (as per Conor's request...."Leave a note on the stair telling the Easter Bunny that we want him to do a treasure hunt). Instead, Mr. E. Bunny hid the eggs all over the house. There are still a few still to be found.....

And the "Best picture of the day Award" goes to me for snapping these action photos. This is what our day was really like. Megan didn't want her photo taken, Conor was pretending to be angelic, my mom was freezing, and Ellen was patiently trying to photograph all of us!

Oh Jen, we've had so many challenging family photo attempts that it's called a Menzie miracle when we get a good one:) Isn't Ellen the best? Your kids are darling & I love the pics at the temple.

Your kiddies looked adorable on Sunday and it was fun to meet your mom (she had the unfortunate chance of sitting next to me in Relief Society and saved us by letting Ellie play with Megan's doll).
