The kids got Brian an automatic pitching machine (made for kids) for his birthday. Last week we went down to the "baseball field" to try it out. Conor and Megan felt that safety was paramount so they wore their bike helmets. It was actually a good idea because sure enough, Megan got a plastic ball right on her noggin.

Jody - I was thinking that Megan caught that one too! Really, there are like 6 balls in the set & she just picked one up and was trying to balance it in her mitt. too cute....
