Bob, my step-dad (aka: Grandpa with Cowboy Boots), is famous for his lemonade. His recipe is basically this: For each 1/4 cup of lemon juice (about 1 lemon), add 1/2 cup sugar and 3 cups water. Delicious!
Nearly every day Conor asks if he can have a lemonade stand. I promised him that we'd do one on a hot day. Today it got into the 90's. We set up our stand, complete with 2 yellow balloons, a table, chairs and a sign. Our price was 25 cents. Megan, Daddy and I were the assistants. In about an hour he made $11.00. Better than minimum wage.....

I remember one summer we set up a 'squash stand' and sold the squash we so hated from our parents garden. We pulled out the baby scale from the attic and sold them by the pound. We did have a few takers!!
How darling...(& Jen, you are looking quite fit!). When we first moved to Daybreak and we were the only house on the street, the kids sold Jeff's Pepsi and my Arrowhead water out of the garage fridge to the construction workers. Funny enough, they would ride their bikes around and "take their order" and deliver it to them. Most guys would hand them 2 bucks! $11/hour is seriously good money!! =)
