Another Highlight of Summer

Conor and Megan get so excited about our Ward Campout each year in Sharon, VT.  Between a bear hunt led by their dad, non-stop running on green grassy hills, swimming in the nearby pond, and surrounded by lots of friends, what's not to love?! This year was especially exciting because we invited some friends and their family joined us.  The campout was well attended, full of beauty, and we only had a 20-minute downpour.  The remaining time was gorgeous.  

DAY 1:

A.  Find a Salamander

B.  Star in a Play

A.  Get thrown in the pond (The Waters of Mormon)

B.  Find the Coolest Caterpillar Ever

C.  Run with friends
Beautiful campsite!  Brian is a pro at setting up camp, complete with the Stars and Stripes 

D.  Eat grilled food
Brian is also the appointed chef at the Campout

E.  Pick blackberries

F.  Play some Chess

G.  Go Kayaking

H.  Be a Beach Bum 

I.  Have jumping contests off the dock and swim

A.  Play games under the pavillion

B.  Go Canoeing

C.  Jump off the dock some more

D.  Race your friend in a kayak

E.  Show Off

F.  Sun Bathe

DAY 4:

A.  Smile for the Camera

B.  Learn a lesson from Dad

C.  Go visit the Joseph Smith Memorial after watching the movie about Joseph's life

D.  Pose for a Family Photo

E.  Run before being stuck in the car for the long drive home!
