Pinewood Derby

March 22 was the date of the Pinewood Derby.  There are definitely many dads of cub scouts in our troop who are really enthused about making pinewood derby cars.  These cars were engineered for racing.  Brian took Conor and Megan to get their cars cut out and the 2 of them designed their own.  Conor chose the pirate theme for his car and was awarded the "Jolly Roger" award.  Megan raced a car (an Irish Truck) in the sibling race and they both enjoyed the competition.
