We've had fun with our Christmas Advent Calendar. I must say that we had even more fun being thankful last month! There is truth to the fact that when we are thankful we are happier! So, we have seen Santa Claus, made sugar cookies, opened a few early gifts, delivered treats to people for whom we are thankful, made Christmas art projects, played in the snow together, had many treasure hunts (Conor is a big fan of these), read lots of Christmas books, seen classic Christmas shows, and today we are supposed to go to Brigham's to get ice cream. (Since it will be a balmy 30 degrees today, as opposed to in the teens, hey, why not get ice cream?!)

Love the photos. Between the excitement/anticipation of Christmas (Grammy brought over her LOAD yesterday - Max was FINE until he saw Dora wrapping paper...) and the amount of sugar being consumed (should I just cut to the chase and open their mouths wide and put pure sugar in?), our children are bouncing off the walls. 5 more days... 5 more days...
