Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly

I was very proud of this picture. Brian held a light behind me and we got a great shot of the kids. Even the guy at Camera's Inc. gave me a "thumbs up" because he liked the photo. I made my goal of sending them out by December 10th. We mostly sent Christmas cards to those people who live far away (due to our "low budget" status).

Aren't they adorable? Conor's hazel eyes contrasting with Megan's blue. They both have stuffed dogs that they sleep with and LOVE. Conor's was out of the picture, but his name is Plopper. Megan's made it into the shot. Hers is named Wiffer. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

PS. Brian has a firefighter nutcracker (he has 100's of firefighter things.....an easy gift) that Conor was afraid of last year, but likes a lot this year. The nutcracker was sitting on a table and Conor knocked it off. He said something about breaking the "hedgehog," but I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. Then he showed me the nutcracker, whose fire helmet had popped off. We got a good laugh out of that and told him it was called a nutcracker. Today Conor knocked him over again and said, "I knocked over the 'hedgehog' again, but his head stayed on this time." We have no idea where he got "hedgehog" ---- it sounds nothing like nutcracker, but Conor continues to call it that. It is hilarious!
