It was Liz's big day. We ran the Melody Miles 5K in Hamilton, MA. The local schools provided musical entertainment along the course, which made me smile (and chuckle a bit too) each time we passed someone. The course wasn't easy because of all the hills, but we triumphed. Our compensation was absolutely perfect running weather! And, a really cool t-shirt.
Above: Our Fan Club! The kids ran a mile Fun Run race. Megan almost quit, but stuck it out. She gave high fives to many of the folks in the crowd and shyly accepted her ribbon. Conor was like a track star, determined to "win." I reminded him that We are ALL winners.......
